<b>MISSION STATEMENT</b> <br> To excel in researching into and the teaching of FACTS about language and to impart analytical skills in the following four broad categories: Basic facts For example, servicing people who communicate through language, for example, in the work place and the huge industry known as language teaching and learning. Specialist facts For example, language and cognitive development and therapy, as well as language and its uses for specific purposes. Technical facts For example, language and technology in man-machine communication and artificial intelligence. Social and Political facts For example, fighting ignorance and misconceptions about language, and informing decisions on language.
