The Department of Geography and Environmental Science provides services (research, teaching, community service and consultancy). The main goal is to enhance client efficiency and competitiveness by delivering accurate, complete, timely and relevant results. It is in this vein that the Department offers training in the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), Remote Sensing (RS) and database management systems (DBMS) hereby named geo-information science.
