dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship of organisational culture creativity and
innovation and their overall effect on organizational performance. A case study was guided by the
following objectives: to establish the key features of Milter (Pvt) Ltd Organisational culture, to assess the
impact of culture on organizational innovation, to explore on the key leadership traits that influence
organisational culture and to recommend cultural elements that should be adopted and developed to
enhance organizational innovation at Milter (Pvt) Ltd. The study adopted survey design which was used
to obtain data to describe the existing phenomena. The target population was more than 250 both male
and female employees of Milter Private Limited. The estimated sample size was 100 from the target
population. The study employed convenience sampling and stratified random sampling in order to include
every possible candidate within the areas studied; proportionate allocation was used to determine the
number of participants from the area that would be the respondents in the study. Content validity was
used where the researcher shared the research instrument with his supervisor to assess its appropriateness
in content. A questionnaire with structured questions was prepared and distributed to the respondents in
every area that was targeted by the researcher. The questionnaires were then collected after one week.
95% of the questionnaires were filled and were used for analysis. Data was analysed using descriptive
statistics, regression analysis, KMO and Bartlett’s tests, and Total Variance Analysis. The study adopted
SPSS version 25 for data analysis. The findings revealed that there are key features that could be adopted
to organizational culture practices at Milter Private Limited, there is a positive impact of organizational
culture on innovation, there are key leadership traits that influence organisational culture and there are
cultural elements that should be adopted and developed to enhance organizational innovation at Milter
(Pvt) Ltd. The management of Milter Private Limited must scan the environment before they implement
any culture practice, strategic thinking is highly required in order to come up with sound and effective
organisational culture that promotes innovation. The researcher recommends further research on the
impact of corporate culture on organisational innovation. | en_ZW |
