dc.description.abstract | In African countries tuberculosis remains one of the major health problems. Tuberculin testing is widely used as a screening test for its detection and B.C.G. vaccination is one of the means for its control. The present investigation was undertaken in order to determine in one area of Rhodesia the extent of B.C.G. vaccination, and also toy means of the Heaf Test to compare tuberculosis in the vaccinated and the un-vaccinated and the degree to which tuberculin sensitivity as measured by this test and in this particular population is modified by malnutrition. | |
