Abstract: | Rhinoscleroma, also known as lupus scrophulosus of the nostrils and, more recently, as scleroma, was described by Hebra for the first time in 1870. This author considered the first cases he encountered as peculiar forms of sarcomata, while others regarded them as luetic manifestations. |
