This article gives an analysis of the microstructure of Isichazamazwi SesiNdebele, henceforth the ISN. The microstructure is analysed at two levels; the level of providing information and the level of making that information accessible to users. This analysis is done within the framework of dictionary user-friendliness on one hand and principles of dictionary-making on the other. The findings of two outreach exercises carried out to get users` perspectives on the dictionary and their competence in using the dictionary are used to make conclusions with regards to user-friendliness of the ISN microstructure.en
